What is Typhoid?

Typhoid is a common contagious diseases found worldwide. It is a bacteria-borne disease that is spread through the ingestion of contaminated food or water. It is caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi. It can cause intestinal bleeding, toxic heart disease, pneumonia, seizures and swelling of the brain. The disease is extensively prevalent in much of the world, including South Asia, Central and South America, the Middle East, and Africa. Signs and symptoms
